4 shops next to rail crossing will be demolished
Mr. Jira Phongphaiboon, Hua Hin Mayor, has been assigned by the State Railway of Thailand (SRT) to demolish four shopping booths beside Chomsin rail crossing to to allow installation of automated rail crossing barrier. At present, the area along the railroad in Hua Hin legally belongs to SRT. Hua Hin Land Development Company has signed contract with SRT which allowed building of temporary shopping booths as submitted to the local planning authority. Read news...

15th ASEAN Summit will be held in Hua Hin during 23 - 25 October
It has been announced that the 15th Summit of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) will be held in the seaside towns of Cha-am and Hua Hin in Phetchaburi and Prachuap Khiri Khan during October 23- 25. Hua Hin Municipality is concerned about the rapid spread of flu (H1N1). In Thailand flu normally spreads during June – July. This year during this period even more preventive measures have been used.
