Students exchange program
During May – July, 2010, AFS (American Field Service ) of Prachuap Khirikhan Office recently gave an opportunity for Matthayom 3-5 students to take test for culture and education exchange program for 1 year (generation 50), under supervision of Ministry of Education. In Prachuap Khirikhan Ajarn Nuchanart Puttawiroh,a teacher from Prachuap Witthayalai School, was assigned for taking care of this program.
In this school year there are 750 students who have passed both paper and interview tests from 13,000 students, in Prachuap Khirikhan 4 students are successful;
1. Nattapat Soonthornvech Hua Hin Witthayalai School USA
2. Thanissorn Thip-Ai Hua Hin Witthayalai School Italy
3. Chawaphat Jitwathanatham Prachuap Witthayalai School Brazil
4. Chayanit Phichitronnachai Prachuap Witthayalai School Hungary
And other 18 students of this province who are in secondary round, and will be sent to another foreign countries (if they desire to join the program).
Those students who have passed the test will stay with “host family” all session of the exchange program. Moreover AFS Thailand also welcomes foreign students for this exchange program to learn Thai culture with Thai host family, as Thai host family will also learn English at the same time.
